Massage Therapy

Massage Therapy done with intention.

The massage implemented is best described as a medical massage. It is typically not full body, but rather addressing the culprits and soothing the muscle that have been affected by those culprits. It is an eclectic mix of Deep Tissue, Trigger Point Work, and Sports massage, with a sprinkle of Deep Swedish to find our target areas. The longer the session the further we can peel back the layers or the more areas of ailment we can cover.

Starting April of 2024 CranioSacral Therapy will be available. CranioSacral therapy is a great tool for somatic processing by helping to release emotional and physical tension that may be stored in the body.

Starting June 2024 Face Lifting Massages will be available. This will involve lymphatic drainage, Gua Sha, and intra-oral work, all of which will assist in anti-aging and decreasing the appearance of wrinkles in the face, providing a natural face lift approach.

Trauma-Informed Life Coach

I am a Trauma-Informed Life Coach, trained through Moving the Human Spirit.

My job as your coach is to hold compassionate, non-judgmental space for your messy humanness as you explore with who you are and who you’re becoming. We view some potential blockades to assist you moving forward.

While trauma-informed coaching often has significant, non-clinical, therapeutic outcomes, it is not therapy. This is not a place to seek or receive treatment, diagnosis, prescriptions, medical advice, or crisis intervention for mental health emergencies.

How do we start? Let's start with a discovery call, which you can schedule through the tab, Book Now.

The purpose of the discovery call is to discuss your goals and to see if we're a good fit, so you can get the most out of your sessions! From there, we will discuss what fits in our schedule to make our calls, so you can really commit to yourself and the changes or improvements you'd like to implement.

Yoga

I use Swastha Yoga in my sessions. It is a very intentional and integrative type of yoga. Swastha is an Ayurvedic term meaning to be firmly rooted and established in oneself, in a state of optimal health on all levels; to be fully aligned, firmly established in oneself, and in a complete balanced state of optimal health. Ayurveda is a 5000-year-old holistic health system of India, focusing on the root cause and prevention of dis-ease. Swastha Yoga fluidly combines the 3 doshas (Vata, Pitta, Kapha). Kriyas (3 breathing techniques) and guided meditation may also be added to your experience.

We can also implement somatic yoga, which will assist you out of your head and back into your body. It’s a great tool for rumination or over-thinking and assists you in regulating your nervous system (fight or flight [or freeze] response).

Your well-being is top priority.

I will not keep you on my table time and time again if improvements cannot be made in my hands. I will be honest and communicative if I feel there may be a better option for you out side of my services. I do my best to check in and to be available for helpful suggestions. I am here to be a service of others to help increase optimal health, any way possible.
